Certified Grief Educator

A Certified Grief Educator is committed to providing the highest level of grief support through education, experience, and insights into the often unacknowledged rocky terrain of grief. As a Certified Grief Educator, I completed a certificate program designed by world-renowned grief expert, David Kessler. I bring his unique methodology, tools, and decades of experience to help you navigate the challenges of grief.

My Unique Approach

To serve my clients, I combine my own experiences and healing from grief (read my story here) with a number of other modalities I have studied along the way.

I have been a member of The Mankind Project for 18 years. I have completed many trainings in The Mankind Project. These include group and individual facilitation processes, and leadership trainings. I completed the course offering called “Unpacking Power, Privilege and Difference” to more deeply understand racism, classism, sexism, and ageism, and how isms relate in our world views, and how to be an ally to marginalized groups. I am comfortable working with non-binary gender groups.

I currently offer in person one-on-one programs and in person group sessions on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada foothills. For remote individuals, please contact me regarding Zoom sessions. My hourly rate is on a sliding scale is $45 – $65.  Packages will be offered soon, please check back.

Whether you have experienced loss of self, loss of property, deaths, or divorce I am able to meet you in your losses from a place of empathy, compassion, and caring. This is the work of my Soul in the world. I bring dedication and passion serving myself through serving others in the world in this way. I am a very grateful man.
